My name is Galen and I am a software engineer based out of Flagstaff AZ. My recent work has been focused on on web and mobile application development, but I am always excited to tackle learning a new technology, framework, or language in order to solve a complex problem. I currently work as a SalesForce Commerce Cloud full stack JS developer for Deckers Brands.

This WordPress site is where I have decided to chronicle some of my projects. I really enjoy the process of Open Source Software (OSS) development, and hope to pass along anything that has helped me learn along the way.

I am a technology geek and I love the ever-changing technology landscape. The constant learning that is required makes to keep up with modern web and mobile software development, and I am excited about the practically unlimited possibilities for technology in our future.

I am a parent of 3 wonderful kids, and I enjoy spending time outdoors. I play soccer, enjoy mountain biking and skiing, and try to get out and ride my skateboard at least a few times each week.
